My name is Shigé Clark, I am a Soldier-poet in her 20s, currently living in Tennessee in the US.

I’m here because life is hard, and sometimes it can be cruel. But it is also vastly beautiful, filled with wonders all around, and none more-so than people like you and me, twirling through the void, trailing ribbons of vibrant color. I’m here because it’s easy to forget, that others know and share your pain, that there is life and light and love beyond it. And sometimes we need a reminder.
I’m here because words have power, and I hope they are powerful enough to convince you that, though the shadows are real and sometimes we dwell in them, you are gloriously unique and boundless in value, and life is still good.

Come sit, and muse with me awhile.
